Frequently asked questions

Who is an ideal Quantify prospect?

An ideal Quantify prospect is a self-funded employer seeking to significantly reduce high-cost medical specialty infusion expenses—while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

What makes Quantify different from other infusion providers?

Unlike traditional providers, Quantify exists to transform how employers tackle rising specialty infusion costs—by delivering vertically integrated, high-quality care at a lower cost.

How are Members identified?

Quantify identifies eligible members through a comprehensive analysis of medical claims data. Initially, a retrospective review is conducted to pinpoint existing patients receiving medical specialty infusions. Once a partnership is established, Quantify continues to monitor ongoing claims data to identify newly diagnosed patients in real time. Additionally, Quantify may collaborate with Case Management and Utilization Management teams to further support member identification.

What’s needed for a Savings Analysis and Ongoing Reporting?

Quantify provides a clear, easy-to-follow data guide that outlines exactly what’s required to evaluate potential savings and impact. After the program launches, we deliver ongoing reporting that offers full transparency into engagement metrics and savings realized over time.

How is care delivered through Quantify?

Quantify serves as the specialty infusion provider, managing every aspect of care—from pre- and post-treatment monitoring to dispensing medication through our own integrated pharmacies. Patients can receive treatment in the comfort of their home or at one of Quantify’s clinic locations.

What are potential barriers to success?

Although patients needing specialty infusions comprise just 0.5 –3% of a member population, they account for a disproportionate share of total healthcare costs. Program success requires minimal involvement from HR teams. We will provide communication materials and recommendations on how to engage impacted members. From there, Quantify handles all patient outreach, engagement, and care coordination.

How does Quantify get paid? Are there program fees?

Quantify operates as a healthcare provider, submitting industry standard claims for reimbursement. Quantify does not charge a percentage of savings or a per-member-per-month (PMPM) fee. There are no other fees associated with Quantify.

Is Quantify In-Network, and do you work with large carriers?

Quantify is not in-network with any insurance carriers. This is a deliberate decision that allows us to provide high-quality, cost-effective care directly to self-funded employers. We work seamlessly with independent third-party administrators (TPAs) to process claims. For employers using major carriers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, or Aetna, we offer a dedicated TPA solution to support billing for the members we serve—without requiring changes to the existing health plan structure.
